Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use StoneMandi, whether you are browsing stone, sending a requirement, or listing a business. By using the service you accept them.

1. What StoneMandi is

StoneMandi is a marketplace and sourcing facilitator. We help buyers discover stone, we qualify buyer requirements, and we connect buyers with supplier businesses. Unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific transaction, StoneMandi is not the seller of the stone.

2. Supplier businesses are responsible for what they supply

Listed businesses are independent. Each is responsible for its own products, stock, specifications, quotations, representations, delivery commitments and after-sales obligations. Any contract for the supply of stone is between the buyer and that business, not with StoneMandi.

3. What buyers should confirm independently

Before finalising any purchase, you are responsible for confirming directly with the supplier:

• the exact specification, including stone, thickness and finish
• the final price and everything the quotation does and does not include
• the quantity, including any allowance for wastage
• the actual material or lot being supplied to you
• transport, delivery, timelines and responsibility for damage in transit
• suitability of the stone for your intended application

Information on StoneMandi is a starting point for those conversations, not a substitute for them.

4. What verification means

When a business is marked as a Verified Business, it means StoneMandi carried out its defined business checks before listing it, based on information the business provided. Verification is not a guarantee of product quality, stock availability, pricing, delivery, or the outcome of any transaction, and it does not make StoneMandi a party to that transaction.

5. Prices and product information

Any price or price range shown on StoneMandi is indicative. It usually refers to a stone at a particular thickness and finish and may not include fabrication, transport, taxes or installation. The binding figure is the written quotation you receive from the supplier.

Specifications and descriptions are provided by the listing business. We do not independently verify every detail of every listing.

6. Natural stone varies

Photographs on the site show representative material. Natural stone varies in colour, veining, tone and pattern between blocks, lots and individual slabs, and screens render colour differently. The material delivered to you will not be identical to a photograph. Where appearance matters, view the actual slabs allocated to your order.

7. No guaranteed price or outcome

StoneMandi does not guarantee the lowest available price, and does not guarantee that any enquiry will result in a transaction, a quotation, or a response from any particular business.

8. Payments and delivery

StoneMandi does not currently process marketplace payments and does not arrange delivery, unless we state otherwise explicitly and in writing for a specific transaction. Payment terms, transport and delivery are agreed directly between buyer and supplier.

9. Seller obligations

If you list a business on StoneMandi, you confirm that you are authorised to represent it, that the information you provide is accurate, that you have the rights to any images you upload, and that you will keep your listings honest and current. We may decline, suspend or remove a listing or account at our discretion, including where information appears inaccurate or misleading.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use StoneMandi to post false or misleading information, to impersonate another business, to scrape or bulk-extract content, to interfere with the service or attempt to access areas you are not authorised to use, or for any unlawful purpose.

11. Intellectual property

The StoneMandi name, mark, site design and written content belong to StoneMandi. Listing content and images uploaded by a business remain that business's, which grants StoneMandi the right to display and promote them on the platform. Do not reuse content from this site without permission.

12. Limitation of liability

StoneMandi provides the service on a reasonable-efforts basis. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, products, quotations or representations of listed businesses, nor for loss arising from a transaction between a buyer and a supplier. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Third-party services

Enquiries reach us through WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp and Meta under their own terms. Parts of the service rely on third-party hosting and media providers. We are not responsible for those platforms' availability or policies.

14. Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. The version published on this page is the one that applies. Continuing to use StoneMandi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
